All custom lifting equipment designs are reviewed with Letellier Material Handling Equipment, Inc. customers before production begins on any equipment.

LMHE's Engineering Department design tools include: Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) software to determine critical stress areas of design, CAD/CAM software to allow machine programming, Solid works CAD software for design in a 3D environment.

Professional Engineering (PE) stamped and approved design services are available.

Letellier Material Handling Equipment, Inc. Engineering - Testing Services

All items proof tested or load tested by LMHE can be supplied with certification and testing documents. A variety of gauges, fixtures, and other testing equipment for special applications have been developed by LMHE.

Horizontal Load Tester

• Load cell with digital meter certified to ASTM E-4 standards.
• Small cylinder for testing 1,000 lbs. to 50,000 lbs.
• Large cylinder testing for 6,000 lbs. to 600,000 lbs.
• Total Bed length of 40 feet.
• Maximum pull to pull of 28 feet.
• Maximum bed width of 48".

Vertical Load Tester

• Load cell with digital meter certified to ASTM E-4 standards.
• Large cylinder testing for to 450,000 lbs.
• LMHE maintains all test results for future reference. Per request, test reports can be submitted to customers for certification and their records.
